I believe this is the last season for Les Miles, Bob Stoops, and Gus Malzahn, and may be the last for Sumlin.

We could have a contest, like the ESPN Bowl confidence contest, on which SEC coaches get fired next year.

Here's my list with the highest number of confidence points for the coach most likely to get fired.

6. Bob Stoops
5. Gus Malzahn
4. Les Miles
3. Kevin Sumlin
2.Bielema
1. Butch Jones (If UT fails once again to make it to the SEC championship game, I just don't see him lasting another year.)

6. Bob Stoops - Nope...Oklahoma made the playoff last year and isn't in the SEC.
5. Gus Malzahn - His seat could be getting a little warm.
4. Les Miles - Nope...They don't want another fiasco like last season's vote of confidence...and LSU can't afford to buy him out, anyway.
3. Kevin Sumlin - Possibly...all it takes is a really bad season or another drunken escapade.
2.Bielema - He started turning things around last year...so not really likely.
1. Butch Jones (If UT fails once again to make it to the SEC championship game, I just don't see him lasting another year.) - Nope...UT just had their best season in nearly a decade.

Not a chance in hell. He is a top 10 coach nationally, he is here for a loooooooooong time

6. Malzahn
5. Les Miles
4. Hugh Freeze (heads to NFL after sanctions)
3. Butch (NCAA may start taking sexual assault seriously)

Pickem for 1&2: Stoops, Sumlin, and Bielema could fall prey to unrealistic fan bases.

For better or worse that guy is a gotdamn rock star in Arkansas. Not even worth mentioning in the same sentence as hot seat (or any implied form of a warm seat (only broken seats)) for the next 2 years.

If Bielma's seat is warm, it's only because his hypothalamus is going into high gear after his insulin kicks in.

Beliema is not a top 10 coach nationally. Probably not even in the top 30 nationally.

The last two years y'all have been ready to fire him mid season only to have him pull off a mediocre win vs a dilapidated team or using a 4th and 25 miracle and do a full 180 and start slobbing on his knob until early the next season when he gets blown out again or loses to Toledo

It's really fun to watch

Rebuilding job or not, that's a big stretch. Not to say he won't be there (again). It was certainly arguable when he was hired.

Sumlin. I think he's history with less than 9 wins
Butch. Seems the VN is getting restless
Gus. Should've canned his arse last year.
Stoops. He was in the CFP last season. Safe
Fat Bert
Miles. Only way he's gone is if we lose 4 or more.

I mean, there are plenty of scenarios where we don't win the East, and Butch is retained.

What if UF goes 12-0, and UT goes 11-1?

Barring a massive collapse (I'm talking no bowl game here) or something else very drastic coming out in this whole Title 9 situation, Butch will be UT's coach for at least 2 more seasons. If UT were to flop to a 8-4 or 7-5 season, Butch would surely be on the hot seat. And admittedly, Butch has had a problem with tensing up in close games, usually either costing us or almost costing us the game. Hell, I'll admit that he's the reason our losing streak to Florida lives on*. But the administration isn't gonna be so quick to can a guy who's brought the program from the fricking dumpster into a position where it can be a SEC and national contender. Our win total has increased by 2 each year, and most of the players who were starters in the Dooley days wouldn't scratch the two-deep on our current roster. Furthermore, the administration takes into account things like team GPA, which has improved vastly under CBJ. I still have my reservations about the guy, but like it or not, he almost certainly isn't going anywhere for at least 2 years. And I think Bert is in somewhat of a similar position, Miles, Sumlin, Malzahn, Stoops, Mason, and Mullen are all far more likely to be sent packing after this year than either of them.

he'll blow it again this year because he sucks, but they can't afford to fire him.
