I was intrigued and inquired. Anyone that has ever been to a poduck high school football game knows that girls that size don't even cheer in junior high/high school, much less in the SEC.
So I asked someone in the know about it. She said it was simple. The girl's family is a huge donor and the girl's grandfather has donated many millions of dollars and has a building named after him. She wanted to be a cheerleader, she got to be a cheerleader. She's going to be a multi-millionaire one day as well.
Its the kind of money that most schools would find a place for her, if they could carve out the real estate needed.

Reminds me of a girl I dated for a while in college. She was nice, it just didn't work out.
She had a very odd first name - one that I suspect many have never heard of as a name, but have heard of as a company in the Southeast US. One day, we saw a truck with the company's name on the side of it and I made casual mention of it.
She casually said, "Oh, that's my grandfather's company. Its named after me."
