Good site share. Was shocked but if I read that correctly, for UGA the only 2 seasons with no players selected were 92 and 41.

ETA: Missed that there were actually drafts in 36/37, so that was the last time for UGA as it appears we had no players selected in those. I'll take it.

Arkansas did not have players drafted in 1995, 1992, 1988, 1985 and 1960.

So 5 years total.

UF has had a player drafted every year since 1952. 5 times between 1937-52 were no players drafted

Not too much difference between UGA and LSU

So, I guess there's a follow up question. Is it more embarrassing to have had your consecutive misses recently with a 7 round draft or in the times where the draft had many, many more rounds? There were fewer teams then, so I'm not sure what years actually had the most selections made in the draft.

Only years that Georgia hasn't had a player drafted were 1941 and 1992. I think

I don't know if Bama has ever gone consecutive years without a single player drafted, but the last time we didn't have one was 2008.

Since the first NFL craft in 1936, Alabama has only had 4 years TOTAL with no player taken. (60, 61, 70, 08)

60/61 were of course the aftermath of the Whitworth disaster.

08 the aftermath of the Shula one.

Are we really counting the days when the draft had 30 rounds

Until last year it had been 50 years since UT had not had a player drafted. I'd say that was a pretty good record that not many schools could say.

Arkansas has only gone back-to-back without a player drafted in 1936 and 1937. Those were also the first two years of the draft. We didn't have our first player picked until year 3 and have only not had a player drafted since then in 1960, 1985, 1988, 1992 and 1995.

Still blaming Dooley like Obama does Bush huh?? Smh.

Jones has yet to prove he's able to develop players that aren't naturally gifted. What he did with the OLINE he inherited was pathetic.

That's pretty cool. I only skimmed ours. There are a number of years where we didn't have players drafted but the only time I saw where it happened in consecutive years was 1940-1941. Or perhaps before that. It says our first draft pick was in 1939, when did the draft start?
