Dilfer doesn't get his Super Bowl ring if he couldn't hand the ball off to Jamal 25-30 times a game. Lewis had 1,166 yards rushing and 10 TDs from week 9 through the playoffs and Super Bowl.

He still owns something like 40+ Broncos franchise records and I believe is fifth on the list of all-time single season rushers.

I sometimes wonder how old some of the people here are when they make statements like this and if they ever watched the guy play in his prime.

He isn't HOF worthy over some of the others listed here. His career wasn't long enough to get the big numbers required for the hall of fame. Still don't understand how he got in .

Terrell Davis is

57th on the all time rushing list
48th in career rushing touchdowns
27th in yards per carry

He had one monster season, one great season and two more seasons that were similar to what any other running back had in Denver under Shanahan.

Priest Holmes had a more dominant three year stretch than Davis ever had and he will never sniff the HOF.

He's #3 in yards per game behind Jim Brown and Barry Sanders, just ahead of Adrian Peterson...

Nah but he did everything ineeded his power to degrade,
humiliate and embarrass TD.He was so freakin spiteful that he refused to make his game films available to pro scouts.

The guy had no business coaching much less influencing
young men.

I did. He was a good back, but only elite for a few seasons like Priest Holmes. Not hall of fame worthy. Career outside of a few years was rather pedestrian.
