Not when the only team you are competing against for the division is USCe

You guys don't have the best record, at... well football.

Wow. This was nothing more than a congratulations and it gets seven pages of argument.

I didn't think it was controversial to say Mizzou had the better season. Won the division, and it wasn't a tie. I haven't seen any LSU fans claiming to be the best in the conference because they beat auburn.

A divisional crown, 12 wins and a bowl win over #13 should trump 11 wins with no title and a bowl win over #19.

But no, not when you use pretzel logic...

It's not pretzel logic to say USC had better wins.
Mizzou had better losses though

It's subjective. Not sure why some people don't understand why it's debatable

A fan of the 3rd best team in the SEC made a thread and tipped his cap to the 2nd best team, Mizzou. You are 4th. Hang the banner.

Some one give this man a round of applause for his insightful analysis and coherent conclusion.

You sir are deserving of a standing ovation. Truly, I'm standing now and clapping at the computer screen because I'm so struck by the brilliance of your post and the new content it brings to a thread that is 7 pages long.

Simply fascinating work. I'll be on the look out for more nuggets of genius like this from you in the future

Right... and Missouri lost to the team that lost to Georgia and Tennessee (both road games) and did it in their Columbia... during Homecoming.

It's only a subjective argument if there isn't a head to head matchup... say with Alabama and either UM or USC. When it's between two teams that actually played the game on the field then subjectivity goes out the window...

What's not debatable is 27-24. We actually beat Mizzou on your own home field. Us > yall. It's really not that hard to comprehend if your brain isn't methfried yet.

Kind of curious how final Coaches Poll will have it. SCar and Mizzou should jump Stanford, Baylor and tOSU. It'll be interesting to see what order Mizzou/SCar/UA finish in top 10.

Mizzou is second best. No doubt about it. Way to shake the haters.

South Carolina is the clear #2 IMO. Won the head to head and has way better wins than mizzou.

Pretty much.

The fact Mizzou had to play an extra game in the SECCG completely skips right past the low brow types from the lesser of the Carolinas.

The attempt to gloss over losses to unranked Georgia and Tennessee during conference play would be hilarious if it were not just a tad more pathetic.

The head to head overtime game would have meant something to this argument had they not shite the bed to UGA and Tennessee during conference play.

It is what it is.
