UT is like U of L and IU. Smack is always appropriate no matter how bad they are

They were more than cool when they pillaged our anus last year in football.

I prefer to return the favor in shooty hoops.

If this is the rule for talking smack I guess we need to go back to playing Indiana every year in football & hoops

Can we still point and laugh if we pull off the upset?

The possibility of that happening is so remote that I think we are wasting bytes just thinking about it

Sure. We did a couple of years ago when we did the unthinkable.

Any smack talk before hand and you're on your own.

I remember that. We beat the Vols using a WR who couldn't pass as QB

Dooley always found the strangest ways to lose. And when he wasn't directly fricking up, he had such bad juju that the football gods kept smiting him down just as a victory was in hand, pointing their fingers and laughing.

Now you know what's it like rooting for UK during football season.

Well, IU does have a better basketball team and program. Plus, their football team did beat Mizzou, the SEC East champions. I'm probably doing IU an injustice by bringing them into this conversation.

We're talkin' 'bout hoosiers.... I'd rather be around 50 vols than 2 hoosiers....

Oh I know what's it's like... well partly. Half my family is from Kentucky and Mammaw loved her Wildcats. Of course, she was old enough to remember good teams.

Bad sign! LSU was closed last season for an ice storm when they beat UK at the PMAC. FWIW

ESPN needed that game on TV and LSU offered free admission and hot dogs to as many students as they could get there. ESPN was kind to LSU as they did as much as they could to not show the emptiness of the PMAC - didn't show stands above first sections.

Doubt it. I remember as a kid that Jellico Mtn was always one of the first spots to get bad. I'm sure the UK necks living in the area will find a way to make it, the main roads around Knoxville really aren't that bad as long as one doesn't drive like an idiot.

UK by 28.
