I think it opened a lot of people's eyes that this truly isn't the "same old Clemson."

Our defensive line played like if they lost they'd be executed on the field, I can't recall Bama's offensive line getting beat up like that in a long, long time. I don't know who their right tackle is, but Kevin Dodd might want to send him a good chunk of his signing bonus, he was totally outmatched.

As soon as the game went 0:00, I was disappointed of course, but to be that close to beating a Bama team that didn't turn the ball over and only gave Clemson's offense a short field twice, I couldn't be too down on them. Watson was at his absolute best minus the INT, but how can you not credit Jackson for drawing him to make that throw? I thought both teams played very well, but it was a game of big plays that Bama ultimately won with two clutch fourth quarter special teams plays.

Saw a lot of Bama in that Clemson team. Scary.

I never thought we could win in a shootout but I never thought we would have to. Watson was amazing. McCaffrey and Watson are in a 2 horse race next year's Heisman.

Classic game and tremendous grit and effort from both teams. No quit and there were guts everywhere lol. Watson is the best QB since Cam

That was a hell of a game. I earned a LOT of respect for where that program is at. I did not think that game was going to be as miserable as it was. What was there like 4 lead changes? That was one for the books. It's a shame both teams can't win, because both showed a lot of heart.

I never watch games more than once really from recordings... this one, I damn sure will.

Good luck moving forward.

Nope. I know some butthurt Clemson fans that are going to chase that rabbit but the better team won. Better play calling and better special teams won out the night. There are always some ticky tack calls that are questionable, but there was not play that really affected the outcome. As for injuries, we had enough personnel on the field to win, but a few plays tip the scales to Bama.

Great game by both teams. Clemson is for real and Watson is the truth. Talking with my Auburn buddy at work this morning, both of us think Watson will be better than Cam because he is a better passer.

I cut up on here and have fun because it is all a joke to me that people take it serious but I will say this. Clemson has a great football team and we had no answer for that offense. That is complete football team and Alabama required luck to win that game last night.

What a great game, it is a shame one of those teams had to lose. I think last night Clemson was the better team and Alabama had an edge in coaching. However, I think Dabo is one of the best coaches in college football today and he coached a great game.

I was impressed with Coker last night, too. He was under pressure all night and when he absolutely had to make a play to win the game, he did just that on the 3rd down scramble that all but sealed it up.

Our defense lived and died by the blitz all year long, and our secondary struggled with tight ends almost all season. It was disappointing the end result, but the journey was a hell of a ride and I wouldn't trade it for a 10-3 finish and a blowout win in a meaningless bowl game.

Your corner got scared on OJs long run. He had him for a no gain tackle.

Congrats to Clemson, y'all played outstanding football.
If not for tremendous special teams plays, Clemson could have won. They outplayed 'Bama for most of the night.

Really impressed with the effort to come back at the end of the game. Well coached team.

Yeah, he showed real quick that he's no Alexander. Mack's strength is open field tackling, he sniffed out a handful of screens before he was injured.

Our tackling has been an issue this season, they don't seem to wrap up. I don't know if it's a matter of they think just hitting a guy will be enough or what, but last night wasn't the first time not wrapping up cost them.

I think y'all will be pre season number 1 next year and have a great chance to win it all.

There was more than one point in the game that I thought I would be the one making a post congratulating Clemson. Clemson played their best game last night, they were incredible. Alabama still managed to pull it off, but Clemson definitely deserves all the respect in the world for they way they competed. Alabama and Clemson were obviously the 2 best teams in the nation duking it out.

That was almost the entire game for me. I was exhausted when that game was over.

Coot fans sound a lot like Mississippi fans..it's embarrassing. Y'all lost to the Citadel and you're trying to talk trash about Clemson losing in the natty.
