In no way am I saying that is any good, but alcohol clouds the mind. Normal drunken teenage behavior, if high profile names weren't involved, the girl would have just slapped him in the face, not cry to daddy and get him kicked off the team.
That compared knowingly cheating on exams, buying known stolen goods, and getting your father to solicit money for you, just not tell you about it, are worlds apart.
