Nobody who liked that gawdawful grey that directly led to an LSU beatdown in '13 gets a vote. Sorry I'm not sorry!

On further review by the grumpier me:

Alabama's is pointless even if it looked good - they already have an iconic helmet anybody would recognize.

Arkansas I really like, though I can see why hog fans might not.

Auburn - yecch on the orange.

Florida I like, though it's too big.

Georgia I missed on the first take. Holy cow that's worse than Ole Miss, unless we're talking roller derby.

LSU is fine but then... it looks a lot like what they already have, which is probably why it's fine. No reason for the LSU and tiger to be silver, though.

Mizzou: Eh... maybe. Probably not.

MSU's bulldog was drawn by a kindergartner. Terrible.

Ole Miss: We can only hope they'll go for this. Awful. Tied for worst with UGA.

UK looks good to me.

UT: Just no.

A&M's is bad. Not awful, but if they're going to put the state outline on a white helmet the whole thing should be smaller (seems to be a trend in this collection) and get rid of the grey. And get rid of the damn bevel, fer cryin' out loud. My sig shows the perfect A&M helmet variation with the Texas outline.

There was no gray on the razorwire helmet

Absolutely not.
I wish we'd occasionally wear the white helmets from back in the day though.

IDK about the graphics, but Riddell continues to make the most badass looking helmet on the market with the most dynamic cutting edge technology for player safety.

The new Revo Flex line is wicked.

UK pretty much wore that helmet this past season.

Different color face mask, but I like the blue already worn over the chrome or gray anyway.

Agreed. I heard that with Nike we'll be able to start using that again, but that could be a rumor

Is it just young folks that spell helmet "helments"? I also hear young folks say "verse" instead of "versus". I even hear young announcers on TV say verse.

Bama should trot out the white helmets every now and then. Arkansas should wear the old school hog helmet at least once a year. Ole Miss should burn all their current helmet designs and only wear the powder blue. LSU should wear their white helmets (and purple jerseys) once in a while. Mizzou should consider wearing their old school helmet for a few games.

Other then that I think the SEC helmets are just fine the way they are.

Is it even possible to come up with a "new" Oregon helmet?

Pretty soon they're just going to have to wear other teams logo's to keep up the high school originality.

Slap that orange on top of a Smokey Gray Matte helmet on top of the uni we wore against UGA in 2013 and it would be sick.

most are awful. Helmets should look good from the stands, not just on TV closeups on a 50" screen.

Will say this: the Maryland concept is better than their current one.

I'm waiting for Oregon to just go with a simple, basic design: a big Nike swoosh on an otherwise bare helmet.
