they basically slapped a bevel on one of the alternates we started using in 2012.

Ole Miss should go powder blue or stay at home. Honestly the powder blue helmets are right up there with the old school snorting hogs helmet or what have you.

Agree the powder blues were one of my all time favs. Amazing how a different color shade can make such a great concept just 'meh'

Yeah.... just no. However, I do like the idea of the incorporating the state outline. But make it much MUCH more subtle, like the faded houndstooth on the nike pro combat unis. I could see a subdued Alabama state background working for a one game anniversary of something.
