Imo, yesterday showed how much more resilience and mental toughness uf has in 2014 vs last season. They would have lost, perhaps badly, in a similar game last year.

In my opinion, yesterday is proof that it's great to be a Florida Gator! (despite how painful it was to hear that game on the radio- fk direct TV in Puerto Rico).

IMO UF's offense is hindered by poor decisions from the QB position and by telling the QB not to run the read option.

Yes and some dropped passes. UK did a great job of keeping us pinned deep in our own territory for much of the night. While the offense has improved, we aren't going to drive it 90 yards very often. Just not disciplined enough for that.
Part of it is Driakel, part is the OL, and partly the coaches due to play calling or penalties/discipline.

Why do you say that? He's not leading in a single statistic. You can't count on him being in the game because he needs a blow.

ETA Jonathon Williams, from Arky, has better stats than Gurley.

UK did a tremendous job keeping us pinned deep for much of the game.

In my opinion, yesterday proved why Kentucky will always be Kentucky.

Because he's played two games, while everybody else has played three.

Why would UGA play him when he's tired when we have other great backs?

There is not a single educated football coach who would take Williams over Gurley. Not one.

Yet he has better stats. That's my point. How can you be the best back in the conference when a second stringer on another team has better stats than you?

By having played less games, and because stats are far from the most important thing when judging a RB.

ETA: only the most jaded UGA haters are trying to make arguments this stupid about Gurley

Jonathon Williams has fewer carries than Gurley. It doesn't matter how many games he has played.

If stats aren't the most important thing when judging a RB, then what is?

Why don't you miss Dan Mullen?

We still went 13-1 without him in 09.

Edit: Of course I'd still take him over Boom.

Size, speed, power, acceleration, vision, receiving ability, pass blocking, etc. You know, shite that actually makes you good at RB

So Jonathon Williams, who has less touches, as many yards, and more TD's must not have any of those attributes? Have you even watched that kid play yet?

Yes. He's a very good player. He's not nearly as good as Gurley.

There's a reason people are talking about Gurley getting picked in the first round as a RB. It's because he's really fricking good
