For football, some division championships, JFF, a whale of a coach, Clowney, some bowl wins, a loss to Ohio State. Geographic footprint, etc.
Not sure what metrics you are searching for, I imagine one of the 4 will win an SECCG sooner or later.

Second. Arkansas and A&M are on the same level athletics wise. A&M brings better academics. Missouri is better athletics wise than South Carolina was in 1992 and has better academics.

1st because it gave us the Championship game and changed college football.
The second happened because ATM came crying to us, Mizzou followed because BIG 10 said Rutgers is better.
Both have worked out tho....
- We get an actual channel for SEC sports
- more money for our Universities.
- The SEC can claim that the first gay NFL'er. allows us to shed more of the intolerance label(if only we can get Ole Miss to ban Klan rallys)
- Aggies appetite for an actual championship is settled by a Heisman that can't do better than 3rd in the SEC west. Back to .500 for them with a bigger stadium for visiting fans.
