Or to neutralize the A&M ground game with great containment up front, and have the secondary rested from long methodical drives of their own? And then maybe don't go three and out on ill-advised pass-plays with a lead and two minutes to go in regulation?

Looks like the halftime adjustments make the difference against Arkansas.
They'll come out guns a blazin in the first half and then the opponent makes adjustments and regains control.

It was just a sloppy game for both teams, and I'm glad mine came out of there with a win.
Arky is heading in the right direction and the SEC West is going to be ridiculous next season.

The game for BOTH teams is a study of how to handle adversity be it self inflicted or otherwise.
Sumlin has a teachable moment in the first 3 quarters on how a team can completely bone itself and still keep attacking for a win.
Bert has a teachable moment on how proper execution by doing nothing more than your job (i.e. no dumbass penalties) will produce excellent results.
You hear the Patriots' coach always haranguing his players to "Do your job!". It's simple in theory but harder in application. If you "Do your job!" you likely will win.
It was the most entertaining game that I've watched this year, specifically because of the stark contrasts of styles.
