I don't know who to compare him to, but since I am not a Texas A&M fan, I will be happy when he is playing on sundays.

The whole state of Alabama probably feels like that after this season.

Guys like Mike Evans should not be forced to play in college. Waste of time for him.

IDK if you remember, but both Alabama schools beat you this year

True, but Evans put up well over 500 yards in those 2 games as well.

Yes, i hope we never have to play him again. The guy is an animal. He looks and plays like a man amongst children out there.

I'm impressed with his ball skills but I don't think he runs routes well and if he doesn't improve that he'll be average at the next level.

The best comparison is Vincent Jackson when he was at his best. He's fallen off a bit. They're about the same size though and comparable speed wise

I think this is dead on. You could also compare him to Andre Johnson...but Evans is bigger than Andre. I see Evans being one of the most dominating wr in the league in due time. The kid is just flat out talented.

Actually looking at his stats my comment about Jackson falling off was wrong. Just haven't heard much about him on TB. That's who I think he compares to though its obviously not an exact science

He really does. It's ridiculous.

Yup. He's played organized football for like 4 years I think. He's just so raw. I would think pro coaches can't wait to get their hands on him and mold him since he's so relatively new to the game.

seems like half his routes are just busted comeback routes. JFF gives him the nod before a play that says, "hey dude run down there bout 20 yards until I leave the pocket, then come back 10 or so"

bam, another 20+ yard gain.

Evans is definitely the best since A.J. Green and Julio Jones and may be better than them, too. Calvin Johnson is where I'd probably draw the line.

Slow down, now.

If he could run routes like Cooper or Jarvis and run like OBJ I'd say he's a younger Megatron, but his route running leaves a lot to be desired and he's not that fast.

That said he's a top 7 NFL draft pick and is going to be a stud in the league.

That's exactly what I see. He won't be able to do that to NFL DBs. Gotta be able to run routes well else he'll be another Matt Jones.
