Because Florida's schedule so far is so bad, you can't really take much away. However, you can compare their performance to those D1 opponents other games so far.

UMass Total Defense
Florida : 363 yds, 4.97 YPP
Boston College : 344 yds, 5.46 YPP
Florida International : 315 yds, 4.63 YPP

UMass Rush Defense
Florida : 107 yds, 3.69 YPC
Boston College : 153 yds, 3.73 YPC
Florida International : 137 yds, 4.03 YPC

UMass Pass Defense
Florida : 129.78 pass rating
Boston College : 148.39 pass rating
Florida International : 102.79 pass rating

Kentucky Total Defense
Florida : 564 yds, 6.80 YPP
Southern Miss : 520 yds, 5.42 YPP
New Mexico State : 500 yds, 6.33 YPP

Kentucky Rush Defense
Florida : 244 yds, 4.88 YPC
Southern Miss : 262 yds, 3.85 YPC
New Mexico State : 223 yds, 4.96 YPC

Kentucky Pass Defense
Florida : 172.97 pass rating
Southern Miss : 143.83 pass rating
New Mexico State : 135.79 pass rating

North Texas Total Defense
Florida : 471 total yards, 6.54 YPP
SMU : 572 total yards, 7.84 YPP

North Texas Rush Defense
Florida : 255 yds, 5.93 YPC
SMU : 272 yds, 5.91 YPC

North Texas Pass Defense
Florida : 110.83 passer rating
SMU : 170.74 passer rating

So, the takeaways are..........all of these defenses have been atrocious in basically all of their games. Florida performed against UMass about like Boston College did and a bit better than FIU. Florida performed a little better against Kentucky than NMSU and Southern Miss, and Florida wasn't quite as productive against North Texas as SMU was.

I don't think that means Florida stinks at offense, but it certainly means that nothing they have done so far should be looked at as anything other than preseason work. And now they do it without Del Rio.

SMU has a good offense for what it's worth (At least before North Texas took out Matt Davis), saying we aren't as good as them isn't the burn you think it is.

Interesting, do you think that having their starting QB out effected their production?

Considering their starting QB accounted for 3,000 yards and 26 TDs last season, yes.

Comparing Matt Davis to Luke del Rio to highlight his ignorance?

Bold move.

Florida performed against UMass about like Boston College

And VT beat Boston College 49-0

Since Rantards like bring up App State and Miami like that actually means anything.

Your starting QB has accounted for 56% of your yardage so far.

SMU's QB (Matt Davis) accounted for 66% of their offensive yards in 2015.

I'm fully expecting a 2-2 OT game or one team to get a second safety for the win in the 4th quarter.
