I like the Gumps that are funny with their predictions. Those are good posts. Then you have the tards (showing up in this thread and shall remain nameless). All schools have them.

I have way too many close UGA friends to be an arse and not be kidding. Sometimes it's hard to tell if noobs are pulling your chain or if they are in their rooms in their underwear typing and fapping to pictures of Saban.

Do Florida co-eds still rock the tank tops and gold chain on gameday? Jorts are a given but I remember Florida visitors coming by my fraternity at Alabama while I was in school wearing cut off jean shorts and orange tank tops with their Greek letters on them. Nice guys but it was hard not to at the gameday attire.

Good grief. I hope not. I didn't see any jorts at the UAB game. I know it's hard to believe but I had the camera ready just in case.

Which frat had jorts and gold chains? What year was this?

Can't be Arky. Is it PSU? I didn't watch the PSU/Bama game so I don't know. Was their D stout?

This is pure comedy. Arkansas was top 5 in defense before we played them. And no, as it turned out, we exposed that defense as not being that good. What's funny is that Florida is in exactly the same place. Florida has good numbers against the run because the four teams they have played have some of the most putrid running games in all of the FBS. FAU was #120. Expect the same results...Florida's defense will be exposed as Arkansas' was.

Wait, so since neither team has played a good defense up to this point we are the ones at risk of being exposed? Want to think that through and give it another shot?

Granted, I'm having a little fun at y'alls expense as it wasn't the whole group of visitors but a few were wearing the tank tops with Greek letter on them.

This was during the 1990 Florida visit to BDS (Spurrier's 1st game at UF against Bama). I don't want to say which fraternity but it would be one of the last ones you'd expect to wear tank tops to a game.

Didn't ark have a ton of injuries on D for the bama game? I honestly don't know and would love the flagship to jump in on this.

I think some Alabama fans on here underestimate the difference good coaching has made for Florida this year.

Alabama should win, they have the more complete team, and have coaching consistency for the last few years to back that up.

But to think Florida is just going to roll over is a bit ridiculous IMO.

Florida has been EMBARRASSED the last 2 times they played the Crimson Tide. In 2009 they lost 32-13 and last year they lost 31-6. Point is if there is ever a time for Florida to get payback it's on Saturday.

With all that said I still don't think it'll be enough to get a W. Bama's defense is too tough.

27-14 Bama

Got it. Arky D = UF D

We have no chance and it's going to get ugly. Am I right? Did you want to add any other items of note to the list?

Alabama also returns 10 starters from a 2010 defense that was top ten nationally in just about every category, and they've done what they're suppose to do so far. Shut offenses down.

And Florida can rebuild the reputation they had on defense for much of the Meyer era, if they can stop Richardson and Lacy. Until then, the jury is still out.

Penn State has a good defense. the other sec teams want to pretend like they suck but Penn State is top ten nationally in defense. they are built around defense.

Penn State has the 30th ranked rushing defense FWIW.

UF is at 5.

We haven't been tested because no one has been able to run the ball on us yet.

This will be our first test. I am hoping for a B- or a C+ concerning the running game.

I can't wait until Saturday.

FWIW, It is absurd to compare Arky's D with Floridas. We had a sick class two years ago, and those guys are sophomores now, with a fair amount of games under their belts. Florida is full of 5* in defense. Arky? Not so much.
