Needs more context. He was picking teams he didn’t see anyone else picking in their Omaha 8. He said the formula everyone used was 3-4 SEC, 2-3 ACC, 1-3 for everywhere else.

Looking forward to it, although I wish the weather was going to be better.
Also looking forward to making the trip to Gainesville in March. First time to Gainesville for baseball, in my quest to make it to all the SEC parks (will cross off SC in April, and still have Mizzou, Tenn, Auburn, and Ole Miss left after that).

IF all 8 Baseball CWS teams are SEC teams, THAT would not be good for college baseball.
Is college baseball just dying out in the West? In the ACC? In the Big 12?
This would not be a good trend, IMO.

Seems like it is due to fan apathy, because Cali has a ton of high school talent. Also UCLA just did a ton of work to their facilities, so they seem like they are trying to compete. Oregon schools are competitive as well.
I think in picking 8 SEC teams you know you aren't getting 8 right, but you probably have a good shot at 4 or 5, which might be better than the rest.
