May be the absolute truth, a once power will be swallowed up by the SEC

He basically said there’s a potential parallel to them and Nebraska… From a lack of instate talent, a lapse in coaching pedigree and the move in conference. IMO it’s a fair question but only time will tell.

Oklahoma is gonna be on a very long conference title drought. This isn't the B12

Terrible take.
1. Oklahoma borders Texas unlike Nebraska that’s surrounded by states that produce few blue chips recruits.
2. Nebraska quit playing the Texas schools when they moved to the big 10 and lost their presence recruiting Texas. Oklahoma will still be playing Texas and Aggie plus they are in the best conference in the country.

They’ll turn in to St or Kentucky like.

It won't be as easy to win, but they will still be one of top programs in sec
Must get serious on defensive side tho.

Is it really?
I don’t know…. Arky did pretty well in the old SWC. They border Texas and other talent rich states like Louisiana for one. They are an all time .432 winning % team in the SEC since 1992 with no conference title.
I fully realize OU has a far richer tradition than Arky, but they’ve been feasting on the likes of Iowa St, Kansas, Kansas St, Texas Tech, etc for a long long time.
I can actually see Cowherd’s point. I too, think OU is going to struggle in the SEC. They’re not going to come here and win 10-11 games every year like they did in the Big 12.

I agree. Auburn as well.

Nebraska disappeared when the Big 12 didn’t allow DR Tom to let in unlimited
Prop 48’s in
Then the Big 10 did the same

Yeah I think Oklahoma will still be relevant but it won’t be consistent 10 and 11 win seasons. They’ll be more of an 8-9 win program with a 6 or 7 win for every 11 win season. Don’t see them as a viable championship level program. Now that might demoralize their fanbase and can cause some problems that fulfills the Cowherd prognostication, but I get the sense they’re similar to Auburn fans in that they’re ride or die.

No one cares about Colin cowherd, here.
You didn’t help with proving said, useless view.
Don’t even update the OP. It’s still worthless.

It’s about people. If Venables turns it around this year they can be fine. OU can recruit Texas with anybody, including Texas.

Cowherd is just having a childish feud with OU fans over Riley leaving.
