Given his shaky performance and Kiffin's pass happy tendencies, is this a major concern for Bama?
I assume we're going to get a heavy dose of Henry and Drake, but if they're not finding success, can Coker?

If they establish the same offensive game plan as they did in the Wisky game the offense should be fine. But that is a big "if".

2.5 inches of rain forecast for the afternoon on an already soaked field....we won't see Coker do anything but maybe fumble a snap or two.

Coker gonna piss himself when JJ, Lo Carter and Floyd come at him like a heat seeking missile. Look like SwagKelly without the helmet bouncing TD.

If Richt keeps at least 8 in the box at all times, Georgia has no excuse to not win.

Coker can hand the ball off with the best of them. Henry and Drake is going to be the offense this weekend. With the weather they way it is supposed to be, it should be a run happy game plan.

Don't see too many downfield passes for Saturday.

Agree. And think this is advantage Bama. We are more athletic than them, they are bigger/ stronger than us

Are these estimates in part due to the tropical storm?

I would think heavy rain and a soggy field might help Alabama more than Georgia.

soggy field

Field was pretty wet last week against Southern and there wasn't any slipping and sliding by either team.
IMO, the 90,000 fans rooting for the Dawgs will have more of an impact than the weather.

One could also say this is Georgia's first true game. Scrimmage games are fun, but you can only gauge so much from it.

Might actually help. Will probably contain Kiffin from trying to throw the ball 50 times.

In a way, I think we learn more about Alabama this week than Georgia.

I think they are a good team, but to make it this year, their offense has to play better in a hostile environment. The scores could not be any more night and day than last year depending on where the game was played.
Alabama points
At Home
33
41
52
42
59
25
48
55

At opponents field
17
14
34
20
Bold are SEC games.
