Local radio is reporting that he broke a bone in his foot and they do not know how severe.

I'm betting Alec Morris will be the starter. 5 years in the system I'll be it Kiffin has tweaked it but I think regardless of who started we were going to see a return to the old way Bama played offense and allow the OL to take a game over. I think Morris is about like McElroy.

I don't think he was being facetious...maybe I'm wrong. We do have a lot of seemingly quality depth at the QB position right now, which is nice.
To answer your question, Auburn's backup QB would be a starter on quite a few of these SEC teams that are having QB battles this fall camp.
