It is what it is. At least they are no longer complaining about Ark being on their schedule.

Florida will lose by at least two touchdowns. No bye week for Florida to have extra time to prepare and I don't think they will be able to get up as much for this game as LSU's! Also South Carolina will convert 3rd downs "unlike LSU" while allowing their defense plenty of rest to control Florida's run game. LSU shut down Florida, but eventually the defense wore out due to being on the field the whole game. Driskel still isn't there. He is close, but I think next year will be his year. Clowney and company are going to have a field day. Remember LSU dropping passes on 3rd down was their demise against Florida. So I'm pulling the Bama card and saying Florida didn't beat us as much as we beat ourselves. Although after our two linebackers got hurt they did run down our throat and that is something Florida can hang their hat on! South Carolina will play a more balanced offensive game against Florida than LSU's "struggling to find itself" offense did. If I'm wrong then Florida is really legit! P.S. I would rather Florida win because I would rather face them again than The Cocks. Flame Away

Is the cupboard still bare at Florida? I remember reading a lot about how there was no talent left from Meyer and he ruined the program.

That was in the preseason but it seems like the guys are ok (Was Driskel a Meyer or Muschamp guy or in between kind of?)

Florida is very talented on defense. That was never in question. The issue was offense. Coming into the year florida had no proven players at qb, rb, and wr, and was filled with soft underachievers on the ol.

Well, the staff developed a competent talented qb, found a tough back in gillislee, and really revitalized the ol. The only thing florida is missing is pass catchers, with reed being their only real threat.

In that case, they'll all have 1 loss and all to each other, so you have to look at other factors. LSU will have played the harder schedule (beating UW, A&M and SC). SC will have beaten UF and UGA and nobody else. UF will have beaten LSU and nobody else.

So LSU would get credit for beating aTm but not Fla? Makes perfect sense. And washington? pfft...

My wife is a Florida alumni and a die hard Gator, so I'm gonna make her real happy and be a Gator fan for one week. I do hope you all curbstomp a mudhole in the cocks, and look forward to the game in Jacksonville! Go Gators!!!
