You're probably right. They'll be playing a better football team than they played last Saturday when they lost. 24-20 Florida.

Uhhh that was 2010 and a 7-5 team with a coach already out the door...cant compare the two events at all. The cocks will be kept zippered up and meet a determined UF team that is not interested at all in giving in. Spurrier will forget to take his Viagra and they are doomed.

The Swamp will be at a fever pitch and the noise and excitement will cause the Cocks OL to jump offside prematurely and create third and longs.
A defensive battle and the Gamecocks lose by beating themselves over and over.

Gators 16
Cocks 13

I think SC will be up for this game. Can Florida play up to the level they did against LSU? I'm not so sure.

The question IS if Driskel can THROW consistently enough if the running game is completely shut down.

He's made a lot of progress, but has struggled in the past two weeks,

While I agree with you, that our passing game will be a key factor down the stretch, I don't believe that it's completely on his ability to throw the ball. Driskel only has 111 pass attempts for the year, 37 of which were incomplete, and half of those could/should have been caught.

Georgia has a pretty good running game as well.

lol no.

We're great running against teams like FAU and Tennessee but our OL is terrible and gets exposed when we play any team with a competent D.

Hope they both lose, but I think SCar got a wake up call last weekend, Cocks will be ready and prevail, even in swamp.

if SC beats UF and LSU wins who deserves to be the highest ranked of the 3? 2nd highest?

In that case, they'll all have 1 loss and all to each other, so you have to look at other factors. LSU will have played the harder schedule (beating UW, A&M and SC). SC will have beaten UF and UGA and nobody else. UF will have beaten LSU and nobody else.

So I'd say LSU/USC/UF.

yeah, that's precisely why i posed the question. cmon son.

to me the biggest deciding factor would be UF would have been the only one to lose at home.

UGA looking to back into the SECCG again. Careful what you wish for -- that's job security for Richt and Bobo.

I dont think USC is good at stopping the run simply because LSU did it at wil with no real passing threat. Florida with balance should beat USC

Florida doesn't have 240 lb running backs like LSU. I don't see them just blowing us off the ball and pounding forward for 6 yards each play.

UGA can't help it that USCe always chokes it up in midseason.

Love Spurs but the Cocks will fail to rise to the occasion in critical times this weekend. Seems they're great at racing out the gates but fail to have enough stamina for the full sixty minutes of action. UF 26-17.

Lame.

As for the game, I think Carolina is the better team and should win.
