We beat Coastal this year, so no. Maybe it's South Carolina > Coastal > LSU and UF?? We also went 1-1 vs UF.
But I would agree that if you ever have to take on a SC college baseball team, be very afraid....

They were a part of the University of South Carolina system and only became an autonomous university in 1993. We have dominated the baseball series against them and swept them in 2010 to get to Omaha.
This is Coastal's first appearance in Omaha. We have 2 CWS titles and one runner-up in the past 6 years. I applaud what Coach Gilmore has done, but we are still the best baseball program in the state of South Carolina.
