Mullen - 50% chance (because he will lose again badly to Ole Miss and OM is recruiting circles around him).
Mullen's seat is about as cool as Saban's seat.

It'll cost A&M 15 M to get out of the Sumlin contract after next year. Unless he really shits the bed then I think he'll be back.

But Aggies are so rich. How could a school possibly consider the financial repercussions of firing a coach? That clearly means they are poor.

Stoops seat is warm. His recruiting landed him a contract through next season so he's got to show this year in season 4 that he's improving. Without a bowl game this year he won't be getting an extension.

I have to figure Sumlin, Malzahn and Miles are top3. Sumlin should have already been fired, Malzahn is in full panic mode with no answer in sight and Miles survived by a nut hair. IDGAF how hard the PR machine turned if Miles doesnt start filling up the trophy room he gone.

Its literally SEC Championship or "he gone" for Miles.

No excuses. We are all tired of excuses.

I tend to agree. With Fournette leaving after this year it is time. I realize Guice is good, but Fournette is special. However, if Alabama is your only loss, Miles will survive. It would be hard to justify firing a coach with a 11-1 record.

If he only loses to Bama he is good.

If he loses to Bama and to a couple of lower tier SEC schools hes gone.

Coaches Hot seat top 10

Based on that list, here's how I see it:

Sumlin- Probably needs a 9 win regular season to keep his job.
Muschamp- Seriously? He's 2 on this list without coaching a game?
Malzahn- See Sumlin.
Hazell- Should be #1 on the list. He's a lock to be out after the season. Purdue isn't going anywhere this season.
Addazio- Last year was dreadful, but he has done a decent job at a very hard place to win. He'll be back.
MacIntyre- CU isn't what it used to be. Very tough place to recruit and win.
Miles- Anything under 10 wins will have his seat warm. I think he'd survive 9. 8 and under and he's gone.
Strong- The toughest to call, but in serious trouble with the AD replacement.
Riley- I doubt he's launched after this season unless they go 3-9 or something dreadful, but that was a really odd hire to begin with.

How long can Bert continue going 7-6 before the Hog fans settle in to reality?

I would think Sumlin is in the most danger.

Gus is in trouble if he repeats the performance of last year.

I think Miles is set now for at least a few years.

The Vandy guy is probably a dead man walking.

Sumlin isn't going anywhere.

He has a better record than the previous HC's and is friends with the shotcallers.

You dumbasses ought to take Sumlin off your list.

No one has an issue with your drunk coach staying put. We all hope he gets an extension

Mullen has bought himself plenty of time at State. The success he's had is pretty unprecedented there. He will get a pass with Dak graduating as well. It's a rebuilding year for them, and they know that

Vandy's Coach - 90% chance

disagree. Mason had a very good defense last year, and while it didn't necessarily show up in the win loss column, he showed improvement last year

So you're saying that the governor did NOT save Miles' job last year?

I would love for you to tell us exactly what happened then since you are "in the know"

Butch - 40%
Sumlin - 75% chance
Malzahn - 90% chance
Les - 60% chance
Mullen - 30% chance
Vandy - 90% chance
Stoops - 85%
Bret - 50%

You heard it here first.

Sumlin 4-4 or worse should see him fired but probably won't because of the buyout.

Les would probably have to lose at least 5 in conf unless the losses were bad like last season.

Malzahn is probably OK with anything 7-5 or better.

I think it would take a couple sub .500 seasons for Mullen to be fired.
