16. Florida

Way too high after what they looked like last night. Hard to believe that just a couple of days ago they had thoughts of winning out and making the CFP.

Ohio state is safely in boys. The committee believes firmly they are of the 4 best and they are right.

Maybe.

But it hurts all the other teams will be playing another game.

Of course, to me this is one of the inherent problems in the four team playoff. People say conference titles matter, but there are five major conferences. If OSU and another BIG get in, that means two conference champs are left out in the cold

We will know next Sunday. I just don't see how a team who is 4-1 against top 25 teams losses out to a team who is 2-1 (or 2-2 if Pitt sneaks in) against top 25 teams and has a loss to a non ranked team (assuming PSU wins).

I don't see how you can put a team that didn't win their division in the playoff. It makes no sense.

I mean they tied winning their division technically

What is the point of playing tough OOC games if only conference titles matter. Both teams played a P5 team OOC, PSU lost theirs against an average to good Pitt team, OSU won theirs against a top 10 OU

Makes your team better. Not every conference winner can get in.

Bama's resume wasn't good that year though. Didn't Bama only beat like 4 teams with winning records and Okie State had 7 or 8? I'm not saying Bama wasn't better or deserving but the situations aren't apples to apples
