That poll has been more generous to us than the Coaches or AP throughout the season

They're going to drop after the Bama game

The thinking is Alabama will beat Fl soundly and then FL will drop.

Premature, but not unlikely.

Sadder statement is outside of Alabama, no SEC team in the top 15.

Wisconsin or PSU could jump into top four.

Same with Washington.

OSU not being in conference championship is going to make it close.

Also, I guess this is the year we find out if the CFP is serious about conference titles mattering.

Don't think so. OSU has best resume in entire country. We will see but I trust every single metric and the committee chair comments (about how OSU is in a different "bubble" than Wisky/PSU, and OSU is adding the best notch on their belt of any of those 3 teams)

Maybe.

But it hurts all the other teams will be playing another game.

Of course, to me this is one of the inherent problems in the four team playoff. People say conference titles matter, but there are five major conferences. If OSU and another BIG get in, that means two conference champs are left out in the cold.
