I think it's safe to say Kentucky should probably be receiving a few more votes than a few of those teams.

TCU at 3 is a stupid mistake

According to you late afternoon, the Gators were losing 5 games this year. My, how a Butch Jones choke job changed your mind.

The real point of that thread seems to have slipped your mind...

TCU is the very definition of a house of cards.

Good for Florida, hitting the polls!

Auburn too high

Well they are still receiving votes, so yes, they probably are too high.

Seriously?
The only justification any coach would put them in the top 25 is to pad the appearance of their own schedules.

You are correct. LSU moved up one from 9th to 8th.

It's funny to me that if a tipped ball falls a foot to the right, TCU plummets in the polls. But because it didn't, they are the 3rd best team in the country.

Seems legit.

It's just a coaches poll. The actual committee will leave them out again, as is fair.

Baylol and Purple Baylol too high.

Purple Baylol nearly pulled a Bielema last night and shouldn't be top-10. Neither plays a lick of defense.

Michigan State is not a top-10 team either.

Oregon is terrible and Michigan State was outplayed by CENTRAL MICHIGAN yesterday. Central fricking Michigan.

5 thoughts:

1. Michigan St not suffering at all from the collapsing value of their win over Oregon

2. Utah is being pretty badly under appreciated at 12. Michigan and @Oregon are two solid wins and they were comfortable and dominant (respectively.) Utah St and @Fresno aren't freebies either.

3. Ole Miss jumped 6 spots after beating Alabama. How high can Georgia go?

4. Oregon dropping to 24-T instead of completely out is remarkably consistent treatment to what Auburn got. Is the coaches poll trolling us?

5. At what point do we stop rewarding teams for basically losing to Tennessee and then taking advantage of cosmic incompetence to eek out a win? The only reason to believe Tennessee is anything other than a dumpster fire is recruiting rankings. Yet Oklahoma and Florida both owe their poll position entirely to their games with Tennessee. No one should feel good about any of the teams involved with those two games.

Apparently the voters didn't watch much less read the box score from their game with CMU.

That was as telling as their close win over Auburn-West.

Florida deserves to be ranked at this point. The only other team that should be is Michigan, but they should be there in place of someone like Oregon not UF.
