I agree. Fortunately, this is the SEC, and it all shake out later in the season. The pretenders will drop and the best team will have earned its ranking. If LSU plays its remaining SEC schedule the way it did Saturday it will be in big trouble.

Looks pretty good. I only question OU too high and maybe Utah too low but then again Oregon isnt very good so.. not bad.

If any of the one loss teams win out, they will make it into the playoffs. Clemson plays FSU, Baylor plays TCU, Ohio St plays Michigan State, so only a max of those 3 can go undefeated. And any one loss SEC champion is going to the playoffs.

Yea these rankings are pretty meaningless as of today.

not necessarily true. if Clemson loses to FSU but wins the division and then beats a ranked ACC team in the title game, I think they could still get into the playoffs, depending on the other team resumes. right now the Sec west team could be facing off against a 5-3 unranked Sec east team. that might not be a lock.
I also think the playoff committee is going to want tot ake both Tcu and Baylor if they are both in the discussion again.
