Listen, I'm not gonna go round for round with you because your wrong and that's the truth. You are hearing what you want to hear. The fact is Coach O gave Alabama a lot of credit for having a great defense, but you act as if you want him to blow smoke up y'all assholes or something. He has a right to criticize his offense because they played like shite and that's the truth, but Alabama's defense caused them problems and there is no denying that. But Alabama's defense has been scored upon by Ole Miss, Arkansas, and other teams. This effort by LSU was their worst of the season under him after playing 3 straight games with much better effort and execution. And that is what he was getting at. You come out and stink up the place playing your worse game of the season offensively since Miles and Cameron was running the show, and do this against the best team in country. Disappointing, really disappointing. You let your defensive mates down and all. He has every right to get on them.

I'd rather a coach blame his players like he did than chalk a loss up to superior opposition. While the latter is certainly more "sportsmanlike", the former teaches a better life lesson... Individual sports don't need that because when you lose it's obviously all on you. Sometimes players of team sports need that honesty.
I sympathize with your point.. credit deserves to be given. As a fan it's fun to see but I doubt the Bama players feel slighted.

You should read because you will see that I am, in fact, 100% correct. In his post game presser he refused to give any credit to alabama whatsoever. On Monday, however, he opened his presser with a statement about how good alabama was and how they had the best defensive front 7 in the country.
Those were 2 different pressers. The second one was planned whereas the first was straight off the top of the head. His offense made some mistakes. Sure, ours made just as many. But regardless, their defense wasnt going up against the best offense in the country. Putting up the numbers they did wasnt nearly as difficult as what the offense had to deal with. If you think otherwise then you need to learn more about the game of football. Period.

I still keep saying that that isnt even the point. My point is that LSU's offense has no need to feel like they are horrible and they just sucked arse and they deserve to feel like shite. They played hard and did what they could with what the defense allowed. Yeah, they made some bad plays, but so did Alabama. We just happened to make 1 or 2 more good plays. They have no reason to hang their heads. I keep saying that shite but nobody seems to hear it.
ETA: regardless, its 6:00. I'm headed home. Roll Tide and Geaux Tigers.

Haha my bad. I get you now. He should've cut his offense some slack considering. Maybe. But is that the trait of a competitor and what orgeron thinks future employers are looking for?

Bama fans care way too much about what everyone else says about them.
Because LSU fans wouldn't have tried to turn it into a major scandal if Saban had behaved the same way toward LSU had the score been reversed. That would have gotten a dozen rage-fueled posts on tRant and TD as Tiger fans went ballistic about the perceived disrespect. You can't seriously believe otherwise.

Oh shut up.
Bama won and here are the bama fans griping about the lsu post game presser?
Most insecure fan base I've ever seen.

He's not a good leader of men. That takes a cerebral approach.
He is a good position coach/hype man, though. "These boys is hooongreee!"
