LSU is a great team, and I would never offend the good people who love their team and find pride in its accomplishments. In you, one can only imagine a guy who has nothing worthy to speak of personally, and his favorite team has been vexed to usually finish second or third, or worse. It's just as sad as the mediocre people who brag about Alabama because they are personal failures.

Why don't you provide ONE shred of evidence of Coach Bryant's cheating, you POS? You can run your mouth all you want, but in the end no LSU coach will EVER come close to measuring up to THE BEAR. Nor will LSU ever come close to measuring up to Alabama in football. DWI, you miserable loser.

How you developed your skills of deduction based on my opinion of Bear Bryant is mark of true genius. Did you go to Vanderbilt? I'm not sure you mentioned it in your post. Telling people on the internet that your family knew Bear (and that you went to Vanderbilt) is impressive and clearly makes you an expert on the subject.
Now it's incredibly impressive that you have reduced me as a lower middle class "dipshit" because I have opinion on a man who ran a dirty football program and who was an alcoholic. However, since you went to Vanderbilt you should be smart enough to see what I really take issue with are SEC fans, like yourself latching onto him like he was so fantastic.He wasn't. He was just a football coach. It's pathetic. I have no problem with Bama fans loving the man.

Ah, so you think I am being hypocritical? Well, not that it's relevant to the OP or the subject of the Bear's questionable character, I don't really drink, I just happen to be a shitty typer.
However, since you are an Alabama fan, I understand the vitriol coming from you or anyone else in your own fanbase after my remarks. What I don't get is the love affair across the conference for the man who did everything in his power to keep other schools in the conference down (which as the Alabama coach, his goal is to be superior) in a somewhat unethical manner. The common response was "well that how it was back then" is ridiculous. Just like the idea that Bear was some sort of revolutionary when it comes to desegregation, that hurdle was being jumped regardless of Bear Bryant.
The consistent lovefest by non bama fans is absurd. As far as Vandy fan above me, that's typically what new posters do, come in as "internet intellectual" to show this board that they are a "new" kind of poster, above the rest.
