Why did CMR take the Gatorade off the table and seemingly position his Coca Cola as if he was sponsored by them?

Lol, it just seemed like an odd thing for a college coach to do. It reminded me of MMA fighters with their energy drinks after a fight.

Pepsi owns Gatorade

Coke owns powerade

UGA is sponsored by powerade

He even made sure the Coca-Cola label was visible & facing out.

Maybe his fury over having to adhere to his corporate sponsorship after such a heartbreaking loss is why he lashed out at the end.

That was really odd.

Wonder if Saban has something like that. Hope not. Not what you want your coach thinking about.

UGA (and FSU) don't use Gatorade for a very obvious reason.

While partially true, Coke gives a lot of money to UGA.

Yea didn't Ty Cobb help get Coke started? I think there's a huge presence of Coke money in the state of Georgia.
