If Auburn had any offense Clemson would have lost to that pathetic team.

No after Bama did that FSU sucked actually. Every media member was picking FSU. Bama beats them and suddenly well we don't know how good FSU is. By the end of the season the narrative will be yeah but theyre not good now and Bama beat them because Francois got hurt.

This is going back a long way, but Danny Wuerffel vs Thad Busby is up there too. So is Matt Flynn vs Todd Boeckman. Boeckman was the worst QB I can ever remember starting in a national title game, including Jordan Jefferson.

Auburn couldn't score against Clemson that day if they had played till sun rise. And Dabo knew they couldn't.

Marcus Outzen was another good one

And while he didn't start, this guy.........

However, they weren't matched up against great QBs.

Also, I disagree with Watson vs Coker. Coker played at an All-American level the last 5 games of the season. He was fantastic.

87/120 (73%)
1,159 yards (232 YPG)
9.7 YPA
9 TD / 0 INT

Lots of respect for Bama. They are the Patriots of College football. To beat them a team needs to play their best game and most of the time still not good enough.
Hope to have another opportunity to play them in January. Still a lot of football left to play.

OBTW, to all those in SECr bad mouthing Auburn look out, they have a top defense and
Will be in the mix come November. I think they are still #2 in the SEC.

They still have a lot of work to do on offense. Even their own fans admit that.

Now we're lucky enough to have him here in Charlotte implementing his garbage offense on our beloved panthers.

Like they killed Auburn who could barely beat mercer? They barely beat Florida State last year with deshawn watson. Yet we beat forida state by 17 points.

Try Again bud.

Sorry bud Auburn not as good as you hope. They are not even top 5 SEC this year because of that offense. Def is top 5 good but offense is near the bottom. They could barely beat mercer last week.

Agree Auburn offense is teething right now. My point is they have the tools to overcome as long as their coach doesn't become B12 pass happy and a defense to keep them in games. They had us in our heels in the first quarter then Gus decided to call plays that expose their weaknesses and Clemsons strengths on D line. Game turned into a Sack-fest and Dabo put his own offense on cruise knowing Auburn had no answer to put points on board. We'll see in a couple of months.

Auburn will lose 5 games minimum this season. They will not be in the mix late in the season. It was an early season game where your inexperienced QB had to pass his first test against a decent defense. He plays them week 8 Clemson wins by 21 at least.

What makes you think it wouldn't be close? The biggest loss Saban's had at Bama was by 14 pts to USCe back in 2010 I think.....the other few losses were very close game.

That's how it works. FSU receives endless offseason hype, is talked as a contender for the playoffs, and will beat Bama opening game. Bama wins by 17 and suddenly they're not nearly as talented.

Maybe. I'm hoping to meet them again in the title game.

Last 2 have been great games
