Woodward gives no fricks about LSU melt. Game stays on the 24th.

I really don't think anyone in the administration at TAMU would have a problem with this. The game is moving off of Thanksgiving anyway.

A&M may not mind, but I bet CBS would care a lot. TV contracts have more pull than ADs.

Swap the Egg Bowl with LSU-A&M. Push back the start time if necessary. If the schools involved agree. Since Sankey has already shown he us fond of the "bus travel" cop out and the Egg Bowl is a bus travel game.

LSU would play South Alabama on 10/29

So what happens to South Alabama's conference game that day against Georgia State?

UF would play Presby on 10/22

What happens to Presby's conference game against Charleston Southern that day?

I want this game to happen so the SEC works out as should. Just wondering if they've worked something out on those other games.

Ask very nicely and write a check to move it to conference champ weekend. I don't think the Sun Belt has a championship game

Same for Presby if possible but I don't know if the have a conference championship or when the playoffs start.

The date being floated is 11/26... during the iron bowl.

I expect usa to either get paid for moving or to tell the sec to pound sand and get paid for a buy out.

that's fine if they move a&M game back to sat

Wants A&M game to move back to Saturday. Complains UF won't play on Monday.

Both would be 5 days of rest. Can an LSU fan explain the reasoning here?

3 conference road games in 12 days? No chance.

home non-conference game against USM for LSU, home conference game for Florida against Missouri. And it's not having 5 days rest that's the issue. That was going to be the case regardless. It's about playing three straight road conference games. Schedules were set the way they were for a reason prior to the season. The SEC would never intentionally schedule a team to play 3 road SEC games in 12 days.

Do you think playing southern Miss is at home is the same as playing a road Sec game in terms of physicality?

Don't forget travel too

Not at all. But UF would have to play Mizzou on 5 games rest. I think they should have done it anyways. I'm aware A&M is a better team than Mizzou. I just think it's silly to make A&M move the game back if you would make UF play an SEC game on 5 days rest as well.

Not our problem. They should have moved the game to BR or a neutral site if they didn't want to play on short rest.

Also, both games would be at home. Huge difference with the travel time involved.

It isn't just about that 1 game.

It has been stated 1,000x at this point
