So Stanky is no longer concerned with player safety?

That's fine but if they wait about four weeks we will see if the game is necessary to move to the 19 or if it can be played after regular season so that all parties keep their money and home games.

I'm salty as Frick. UF gets "hit" with a hurricane and is trying to make other universities take the financial burden when the game could have been played any number of times this weekend.

Both LSU and UF just had their bye week. Neither would be "giving it up" as some of have mentioned.

I don't think playing after the regular season is an option. In this scenario posted by Clay Travis, they'd need to make the decision now since the other teams affected would be moving around games that take place in a few weeks

I wouldn't laugh too much...look at the injuries we got playing North Texas.

After the regular season would be pointless because the championship game is not moving, and you can't take a wait and see approach as to Nov. 19. What you are going to do, wait until November 13 to decide?

I was actually wondering if it would be that hard to move some conference games around to make room for LSU UF.

Granted that the teams who have their games moved around won't be happy.

U stupid moron... Why would Lsu play 3 road games in 12 days because your AD and coach are pussies?? Player safety goes out the window.. We lose senior night.. All because your AD & coach wouldn't play on Sunday when we were gonna fly n that day play and fly out that night. Your program is a f'n disgrace

LSU can have senior night at the Alabama game. This is not a reason not to reschedule. the player safety stuff is a legitimate concern, but senior night is not. That can very easily be reworked

Don't have a problem with that. Thanksgiving Day games are for rivals. No longer has any importance since LSU is not viable anymore.

The whole thing was mistake. It allowed Arky to move our game to Jerry World and cost us a home game.

Move the A&M-LSU game back to Saturday and make A&M-Arky a home and home.

at this point, there is not a single scenario where all parties will be happy. it's just not possible.

I'm not saying they're gonna lose.

But it's an actual football game against an opponent (as opposed to kicked back sitting at home) and they have to devote at least ONE day of game plan/prep which they otherwise wouldn't.

In the grand scheme of things no, playing presb. instead of having off wont' matter that much, but I guarnatee you UF isn't gonna wanna go for that. Chance of a starter to get injured while UGA is at home resting up.

I'm actually ok with this if we can simply move South Alabama back to our bye week. However, I still think A&M should be pushed back to Saturday.

I really don't think anyone in the administration at TAMU would have a problem with this. The game is moving off of Thanksgiving anyway.

You can watch it while camping. I've watched every iron bowl for the last 15+ years while camping.
