Dooley should have pursued a career in law or politics. The guy is charismatic as hell and a great public speaker.

I'm not going to quote your stupid shite again, just know that you have posted quite possibly the dumbest 6 paragraphs in Tiger Droppings history, and that includes the poli board.

Being a part time troll I'm tempted to copy and paste his post in Vol threads for the next few months... but I'm not that cruel. Plus, reading that was like reading the Necronomicon. With every sentence you can feel your sanity degrading.

I'm worried that if I read it a few more times I'll suddenly start posting things like "Dooley and John L. Smith just needed more time, they were on the right track!"

And then someone would have to club me to death for my own good.

Dooley walked into a nuclear blast. Butch walked into a better situation with an AD not in complete shambles. He was an awful coach though. Is UT still paying him?

That thing was highly entertaining. Pretty incredible how raw and open Dooley was about his tenure, his mistakes and all that.

Really interesting.

Nope, he might have been the second worse. John L Smith was the absolute worse to ever walk the sideline in this conference.

Doesn't count, since he was basically an interim coach.

You're right Dooley inherited a bad situation but he made it much worse. One year Dooley didn't even recruit an offensive lineman that's why we were so depleted in 2014 with offensive lineman. He also hired the worst Defensive Coordinator in modern history in Sal Sunseri, this dude was a cluster frick. How he ever worked with Saban is a mystery because he's a fricking idiot.

Imo Dooley never had the chance to show what he could do simply as a head coach in his time at UT.

Completely agree, the guy walked into a complete shite storm.

And managed to make it worse. His one positive legacy is that he modified a lot of the plans for the new football complex and made some good improvements. That's about it. Hes not a good coach.

Lou Tepper would like to challenge that statement.

Good lord, man, do you really want to show the public how ignorant you are about UT football?

Orgeron wasn't that bad. There's only so much you can do at Ole Miss. Saban might even have trouble getting them to ten wins.

Orgeron just wasn't given enough time to show what he could do as a head coach. Neither was Ears Whitworth. Neither was Ron Zook or Muschamp

I know you're just having some Friday afternoon fun, but Ears doesn't belong on a list with Zook and Muschamp or even Orgeron.

He won 4 games in 3 seasons at Alabama.

Bama won the SEC in 1953. In 1955 under Ears they went 0-10. That's a very special kind of bad that even coach O can't match.

Neither do I. But the worst isn't Dooley. It's FPhat Brad Scott at Carolina.
