You've gotta have Mo Williams on the list for Bama.

I last found him on the 2010 team. Don't think he went beyond that.

Yes, me too. When Martin, Mickey and O'Bryant were there , I flirted with watching them, but alas, coaching got in the way. You would think with those three big men on the floor, all that would be needed was a competent point guard and a trash man....they should have won more games.

Shan Foster was incredible. He is still a beloved figure at Vanderbilt. Probably has retained celeb status at that school longer than any player since Will Perdue.

Pretty sad that the Auburn player is the one I remember least.

I remember LSU beat some team right around New Year's Day -- Houston maybe -- and Torris Bright did the throat slash gesture. It was pretty bad-arse. Too bad that would never fly today.

Ole Miss Basketball was incredible to follow between 1997-2002. Multiple Western Division Championships. Sweet 16 appearance.

God bless Rod Barnes... made chicken salad out of chicken shite

I feel like Gottfried had at least 2-3 teams better than the one he took to the Elite Eight

Because he did. The Elite 8 team wasn't that good and only got in the tournament as a 7, 8, or 9 seed. Can't remember which.

He was late 90s.

One of the best of the early 2000s, IMO. DA Layne

Big baby Davis was incredible to watch him bully people down low. Also enjoyed Bass and Tyrus Thomas. Watching LSU basketball used to be so much fun. Screw you Johnny for taking the fun out of it.

The coaches and environments in the SEC in the 2000s were fun too. Bunch of guys who didn't really like each other much.
