serious question for LSU fans: Has Mett taken the reins of the offense yet? Is he the leader now?

Watch ONE drive from the first half of the past 3 games and you'll be able to decide for yourself.

I didn't see that from Mett last season. I think he has to develop trust and chemistry with his guys and they have to develop trust in him. Not sure if they have done that yet but they will eventually. I think LSU beating up on some weak opponents early this season has gone a long way towards developing the chemistry. But I still think Mett needs to lead the team to a tough win before he really earns it.

To answer your question, I'll preface by saying this is an easy thing to do against the likes of Kent State and UAB but yes. The biggest thing I have noticed from him is the conviction he is throwing with. He's not tentative in anything he has done compared to last year. He knows where he wants to go with it and has been delivering it accurately. On multiple occasions I've seen him point at the OL after a big pass as if to say "That's all you guys" and he heaps praise on them after the game. When he gets to the sideline its headset on and he looks straight up to Coach Cameron in the booth. Now will this last all year? I don't know, that's why you play the game.

And that is my least bias possible response.

Rewatching the games multiple times, some of the throws he's making are just incredible to watch, as someone who sat through the 4 year black hole of the post-Perrilloux era.

You mean they put Todd at #8 of suck? Great find... Overwhelming support for Todd is where?

He obviously has talent. He was Joe Willy fricking Staubach Montana Elway Marino Unitas last year against the Tide. And working with a competent OC has to have helped him leaps and bounds. He's for real,

LSU finally has a real quarterback and OC to tutor him, and he's been making precise throws for 3 games now that no LSU fan has ever seen made even against the weak teams. About to make it four.

AJ is the real fricken deal also for Bama.

It isn't the ranking that is important, it is where the line of competence was placed!

Okay, Big catch there. Where are all the Auburn fans you spoke of? There seems to be 2-3 in there and only one commented on your chart, maybe 2.

It pains me that I have to share the Earth's air supply with people as fricking clueless as you.

A humorless bastard who thinks votes on the web are SRS BSNS since 2010.

It was a joke. I did not think they ACTUALLY held a vote in that thread. Next time I will engage the sarcasm font for you.*

*NOTE: This is sarcasm. There is no sarcams font. Or is there?**

**NOTE: This was also sarcasm. There really isn't a sarcasm font.

I thought we were talking all around ability. Todd was pretty sharp, he just had no arm. As far as Auburn fans opinion of him, I think most of us are just glad he was there in 09 to save us from Burns, Trotter and Mosley.
