He obviously has talent. He was Joe Willy fricking Staubach Montana Elway Marino Unitas last year against the Tide. And working with a competent OC has to have helped him leaps and bounds. He's for real, not a Heisman candidate, but real.

ETA: I hope he sucks syphilitic donkey dick on Nov. 9.

I would bookmark to bump later, but you'll never post again after your defense gets raped and assaulted by Mettenberger and Hill, so there's that, I guess.

There are so, so many things I like about this post.

To end this whole Mett business, I think the point of LSU fans being excited about him is that while we haven't been really tested we used to not do this stuff on offense against bad opponents. The first game we have 2 WR's go over 100 yards for the first time since Michael Clayton and Josh Reed only to be followed up by a school record 5 TD passes. I just don't see how people can think it's just a coincidence that this happens when Cam Cameron shows up. Also, Mett has 9 TD's well on his way to passing his 12 TD mark for last year. Some people may go overboard, but for me I'm just excited that we appear to have a competent offense. Now I'm sure my words will be interpreted as me saying, "we're better than the Packers" so carry on.

Todd had no arm, He was injured and some how made it through that season. Mett has a lot more tools and talent. Failed troll.

No, we love that Malzahn was able to make chicken salad out of chicken shite.

For those struggling with the analogy, Chris Todd and his dead arm = chicken shite and AU's 2009 offense = chicken salad.

Auburn played shitty secondaries in Louisiana Tech, Mississippi State, and #25 West Virginia.

I'm a little slow, but if I follow your analogy to its logical conclusion this means LSU wins it all next year.

serious question for LSU fans: Has Mett taken the reins of the offense yet? Is he the leader now?

I didn't see that from Mett last season. I think he has to develop trust and chemistry with his guys and they have to develop trust in him. Not sure if they have done that yet but they will eventually. I think LSU beating up on some weak opponents early this season has gone a long way towards developing the chemistry. But I still think Mett needs to lead the team to a tough win before he really earns it.
