Bama fans, would you take Chris Petersen as a successor to Nick Saban when he retires?

He is a great coach. I'm not sure it would be a good fit.

Why would Peterson want to downgrade and be a redneck?

For real, plus his kid is sick and their doctors are in Seattle.

He's got it made in Washington. No reason to leave there.

He'll never leave the area he is in now. Silly for anyone to think otherwise

The guy has spent ONE year in a 30-year coaching career east of Boise, Idaho. To think he'd go to Alabama is crazy.

The only reason why he left Boise State was because his son had an illness in which a hospital in Washington had the best treatment for or something.

Would be best to do some basic research before posting. Peterson going anywhere outside of the PNW isn't happening, and has been a known fact for well...a very very very long time...just like the fact that bama isn't the end all be all for every coach in the country. Sorry for having to break it to you.

It's really not that big a deal. We'll be all right but thanks though
