and apparently looked very good at practice today.
Looks to be the early favorite to start in the slot, and could provide us that explosive threat we were desperately missing on offense last year.

Great news, wish him all the best.

Former Bama WR. Now a grad transfer at Mizzou.
I think he makes a name for himself this year. All reports are that he's looking very good.

Can a guy like Black who has graduated go where ever he likes, or can the school he's leaving put restrictions on where he can go?

He was as talented as we have had, but for some reason just never could find his way... I wish him all the best and future success

He should be a nice addition to your offense.

All the best to him. I think Mizzou got a good one.

A few years ago Mizzou had a WR named Danario Alexander. Great talent, had problems staying healthy. But when he was healthy...he was amazing. His injury his freshman year gave a starting spot to the guy behind him on the depth chart - A kid named Jeremy Maclin.
Danario eventually played a couple of good years for us, and played in the NFL until his knees gave out for good. I'm hoping Black stays healthy and has a fantastic season for us, like DA finally did. We need him in a huge way.

Really wanted him at Auburn.

He would've thrived under Gus. No shite.

He would've been the #1 target without a doubt.
Now, instead, Tony Stevens will be the likely #1 target with a bunch of role players out there. Hopefully Gus Malzahn throws the freshmen (Eli Stove, Kyle Davis and Nate Craig-Myers) into the fire.

Man, I still think about what could have been with DA. The guy was simply a beast. His knees just wouldn't cooperate. Funny thing is, when he was smashing records his SR year and starting for the Chargers he was probably about 80% of what he was at his peak. Just a ridiculous athlete.
I don't expect that out of Black, but I do think he can make some big plays for us and we were missing that badly last year.
