Can we agree that Chief deserves to be evaluated as a badass if he turns last years ragtag demoralized defense into a respectable unit?

Not really. You have no where to go but up, some Anything can be seen as an improvement.

I'll give you a hint. We've needed a board for it since January.

I'm not sure, at this point, who I would rather see melt over Chavis performance: despondent Aggies or butthurt LSU fans.

Haven't the aggies been throwing it in everyone's face that A&M's defensive talent on paper is better than LSU's?

Well, it's kind of a win/win for you then, isn't it?

As opposed to what?

IF he turns A&M's defense into a respectable unit he will be rightfully praised for it, UNLESS the defense is solid on paper but continues to give up game winning drives late in the fourth.

Aside from that caveat, he will get whatever praise he's due IF he can turnaround y'all's defense.

Ok, sure. But what if he doesn't?

Where in your defense would you expect the addition of Chavis to benefit your team? In other words, in what areas would you like to see/expect marked improvements?

If your defense is top 3 in the SEC then I will say chavis is a badass. If he's in the top 7 then, whatever.

That makes no sense. We could literally stay the same shitty level of defense. Are you really trying to say that if we improve, it has nothing to do with Chavis?

If they can beat the Broncos I think the Chiefs take the AFC west.

I want both.

Aggies lose every game, except LSU, 59-0, beat LSU 59-0.

Melt-melt.

We've proven the past two years that it is definitely possible
