I guess he thinks an 11-1 SEC non-winner should've gone over the 12-1 SEC champ.

2011 proved you didn't even have to win your division to make it to the BCSNCG. The main point is; if a team loses at Home in November, they should be below a team that loses a game on the road (or neutral site). My FSU point was that the best team at the end, was not always the NC.

So by your definition, in 2012 UF should've been in over us. Wow.

Alabama was clearly the better overall team though. We had an elite defense but an absolutely dreadful offense.

Again, the best team doesn't always win the NC. In UFs case, they lost one game on a neutral field. In Bama's case, the lost one game at home in November (21 point underdog). Oregon had the same resume as Bama, and their loss was an overtime game. The preseason rankings allowed Bama to have a mulligan, with the help of the ESPN talking heads.

We were lucky as shite to only lose 1 game and needed a blocked punt return for a td to beat ULL.

Yea but you lost one game at a neutral site, and didn't have ESPN talking heads having your back.

I wonder what LSUs fans think about luck in their game against Bama that year.

No comment from LSU fans. AU fans have spoken loud enough.

I have said it before, if Saban had not been given the two mulligans in 2011 and 12, he would be considered the biggest choker in College Football History. Those preseason rankings those years were the main reason for take that opportunity to hit another ball.
