I got my first vehicle in 1976. I did not grow up in Alabama. I have had an Auburn tag on every vehicle I have ever owned. That is through some good times and horrible times. I don't go into hiding when things aren't going well. I do have family that lives in Alabama though. There was a stretch that i think all but 100 bama fans moved out of the entire state.

That's strange because I was in BDS (and Legion Field) all throughout the DuBose, Fran, and Shula years and the stadiums were always full.

I call 100% BS. My Grandma lived around Birmingham. I saw the bama stuff dwindle on vehicles after bear passed away. I saw them come back after Stallings won his NC, then they disappeared again. Truthfully, and you know this as well, the bama stuff has not come back strong until after saban got there. bama fans are as fickled as they come.

You have always struck me as a bama fan. I can believe that. I also have a feeling you know how the "gump" faction of your fanbase is. I have both kinds in my family. Sadly, the gumps outnumber the bama fans.

USC starts winning titles you'll see more USC stuff. I saw a hell of a lot more Auburn stuff after 2010. Exponentially more.
People always jump on bandwagons. But our huge fanbase never goes away, dumbass.

Lee County doesn't have a damn thing to do with anything. I can tell you in Adamsville, Alabama, it went from 5 out of every 6 vehicles flying bama's colors to 1 out of every 25 vehicles flying bama colors. That was late in the Dye era.

I would say, in all sincerity, that I truly believe more than 75% of Auburn fans are not band wagoners. We do have some. I just think bama has a much much higher percentage.
