Exactly. There are things going on around every program to some degree. I don't believe it's on an institutional level at most places though.

I think some of the stuff gets overstated at times but if you are going to follow the rule book to a tee then yes everyone is cheating.

I'd be surprised if there were any schools where recruits/players aren't getting some impermissible benefits like $100 handshakes and crap like that.

I beg to differ!
We are not cheating. We are adjusting the odds to our favor.
There is a difference.

Other than Army, Navy and Air Force, I agree. It happens everywhere. Those who say otherwise have their heads in the sand.

Ya, I don't always know about the "$100 dollar handshakes" but the athletes definitely get illegal benefits in general.

Anybody who doesn't accept this as utter truth probably still believes in Santa and the Tooth Fairy.

obviously I have no proof BUT i highly doubt that any program, LSU included, doesnt try to get away with everything they can.

I like the Days of Thunder school of thought:
"No, no, he didn't slam you, he didn't bump you, he didn't nudge you... he *rubbed* you. And rubbin, son, is racin'."
Cheating = rubbin
"No, no, he didn't slam you, he didn't bump you, he didn't nudge you... he *rubbed* you. And rubbin, son, is racin'."
