Hilarious that y'all think that had anything to do with A&M. Players carried him off the field and fans cheered him because everyone thought it was going to be his last game in Tiger Stadium. The opponent might just as well have been Savannah State. Well, actually, they weren't far off, given how completely the bottom had fallen out of LSU at that point and we still won by double digits.
