Cheating as a strategy: is it self sabotaging?

How many national champions were full of cheaters. Seems like it would get you almost there: like 9-3.

At the end of the day, doesn't a champion require some moral fortitude as part of its culture?

And our star running back missed games for domestic assualt, Masoli stole, etc. We never won a NCG either.

I think my POV makes the argument better.
