I suppose we didn't want to interrupt this rantard circle jerk. Plus, I was a little stunned there were some corndogs that actually admitted LSU had committed a penalty.

There was no PF because Dre was hit in the chest. That being said, how the frick was it holding???

Especially given that these were refs who had not called holding the entire game???

Both (sorta).

TM was frustrated with Dre because they had been going at it all night on punts. I was enjoying watching them battle.

Dre flopped to sell the penalty, but didn't expect to go down that awkwardly and hit the back of his head on the turf. After TM hit Dre he grabbed his other shoulder and kinda spun him around.

It was more of a frustration penalty by TM combined with an oversell by Dre.

probably a cheap shot...the doubt comes from the fact that while it may have been a cheap shot the flop reminded me of soccer fairies

Correct answer, neither. From TM's comments unintentional as to the result, but let's face it, when you clothesline someone who's running ahead of you and hang on to them until they're turned backwards, do you expect them to land on anything but their head?

This is exactly how I saw it.

And I'm surprised to see a Bama fan posting the Truth.

it was an aggressive blatant type of tackle by mathieu but looked to be worse by dre's acting. i found that quite weird for dre to do that seeing as how all hes good for is putting all his weight into his hits when the ball carrier is helpless. dude has a future on the arkansas baseball team.

I seem to recall Trent running towards the endzone with only one man in his way... da Honey Badger.. What happened there?

You're wasting bandwidth. It's how LSU rolls.

He had 2 catches on him, a forced QB sack and he lit your big arse TE up for a 3yd loss. But other than that, yeah, he was MIA.

In military jargon, this is known as trying to polish a turd. Only in the corndog universe can a offensive player perform an "aggressive tackle" on a defensive player, and then have half their fanbase claiming it was a legal hit.

It wasn't even a hit. Tell Dre to stop acting like a soccer pussy please.

Dre Kirkpatrick yanked Mathieu down by the facemask on the previous punt and there was no call.

They were jawing the entire game. It got of hand when Kirkpatrick yanked Mathieu down at the end of a punt as they ran down the field.

You're wasting oxygen. Please stop breathing.

I'm going with the sensible Bama poster. (Not this Arlo frickwad). It was a frustration move by TM7 with a flop by Dre.

To say TM7 was nonexistent is a joke. He had several tackles including a few solos. The ESPN world doesn't give him credit for his excellent tackling skills.

I love how you Gumps think this is some unwordly feat. You mean a back that outweighs a corner by 50+ lbs got the better of the hit? I'd love to see what would happen if Hilliard got a hit on Dre... that is if TM7 hadn't already made him quit.

These conversation can't go anywhere until people begin to understand what the term clothesline means. Think about what a clothesline is and how you would hit it. Can an actual clothesline hit you from behind? The answer is no.

Please join me in clothesline awareness month. Also, I hope Dre's work with Vlade at practice will prevent him from hurting himself on January 9.

There's the corndog mentality I'm familiar with. If the weed weasel had hit Dre in the back of the head with a folding chair, corndogs would be claiming it was legal, and in the same breath bitching about a Bama no-call.
