I think 21 wins will win the SEC outright and 20 will go to a tiebreaker. The last weekend will not be ripe for a sweep for any of the contenders, so the key to getting 21 relies on:

Arkansas getting two of three at Auburn instead of 1
MSU sweeping both Georgia and Alabama or picking up 2 of 3 against A&M
Kentucky winning both series against South Carolina and LSU instead of just one.

My concern for Arkansas is that some of those Saturday games that we just gave away (such as the 9th inning implosion vs LSU) is going to bite us in the butt when it comes to deciding the regular season title.

Still, considering most folks, including me, thought we'd be lucky to be a middle of the pack team with the injuries to our pitching staff this has been a whale of a season for the Hogs.

The Auburn series is monstrously huge for both teams as they try to keep their momentum going heading into the stretch run. If this season keeps up we could have 6 teams with a shot at winning it all going into the final weekend.

Arkansas just needs to keep winning series like they have been. If they go 2-1 in all their remaining league series, that puts Arkansas at 21-9 in league play.

Even dropping one series and winning the rest puts them 20-10 with a shot at the regular season title.

The only series Arkansas has left, IMO with a chance at sweeping is @Tennessee. Though TN has been playing tough ball, they're still 4-11 in league play and have been swept twice already in league play by South Carolina and @State. The Ark/TN series is still a few weekends away, so you have to wonder what the mentality of the TN team will be in three weeks if they keep losing.

Depends on how well our freshmen can take the pressure.

LSU's remaining schedule is brutal, besides Bama. Should be interesting to see how we finish.

Aggies have a lot of momentum after a slow start.

LSU has no walk in the park either, anybody can beat Arkansas. We only have one pitcher! But, we can hit homers and score.

A&M may be too far back to win the regular season title, but we are going to be a tough postseason opponent in conference and ncaa tournies.

So we're only 3 games back? I thought it'd be worse.

I think Auburn finishes 19-11 with a first round bye (3 or 4 seed) and depending on run in Hoover a potential regional host. I don't think any SEC team gets a National Seed.

I think the SEC winner will get a national seed. And i think any team finishing in the top 3 or 4 will likely get a host site too unless we have something crazy like 3 or 4 teams with the same record at 3 and 4.

With 5 teams to jump and 2 more you're tied with.

Auburn won't be able to keep pace unless they get a huge improvement from the bullpen. The offense is pretty good in clutch situations but is an averge offense at best with no power. I see 16-14 or 17-13 for AU which would still be unbelievable.

I like State's chances looking at the remaining schedule. They have both Alabama and Georgia left to play, which should be pretty likely series wins, they get both Auburn and LSU at home. Only tough road series is at A&M, and they don't seem as tough this year as they usually are.
