We are not. I think most LSU fans are thinking about the future of this program with Harris, LF, and Dupre.

Next year we will see some SEC west teams with new QBs, that will not be the case for LSU

Well, I think it goes without saying that LSUs run of the last decade is officially over. To that point, they are not even worth discussing except to point out that they are no longer a viable threat in the SECw and that will probably be the case for a few years (until Miles is gone and a suitable replacement is hired - big assumption on both parts).

Stopped reading.

OP dumb.

You might want to keep your fingers crossed that it IS the case with LSU, having seen both.

I don't think there is a changing of the guard. For one, Miss State and Ole Miss have to sustain playing at a high level. Its one thing to win a game or two as an underdog. Its another to win a bunch of big games while being favored to win.

LSU is way too talented to slip for very long, as is Bama.

Another factor to keep in mind is that Mullen and/or Freeze could leave for a more big-time job with less competition. Michigan and Miami will most likely be opening up this offseason. Look for both Mullen and Freeze to get serious looks for these jobs

Freeze isn't going anywhere until he is fired or retires. Ole Miss is literally his dream job.

Lulz. LSU is not winning shite for a while. They have not won shite in a while. Stop putting yourself in Bama league. You are not even close

LSU has a tough road back, but to make a statement like this after (5) 10 win seasons straight in the decade of the SEC dominance is foolish. We may be missing a championship, but that is ok. Beating AU 7 of the last 8 isn't too bad!

Jesus, do you even see what a giant pussy you look like? One bad season, and suddenly you're jumping off a cliff? Auburn has it all figured out? I thought they had it all figured out in 2010. Or was it 2004...?

All we're going to see with Alabama and LSU is that it's harder to simply reload when you lose so many underclassmen to the draft.

Here's some advice:

Go ahead and jump.

I think the rest of the SEC, for better or for worse, views the 2010 Auburn team with an asterisk because of the Camgate ordeal.

Still melting. Priceless.

If Dak stays, which I assume is unlikely, State will be as good. Ole Miss will only have to replace Bo Wallace and Cody Prewitt as their front-line players go. The vast majority of their major contributors will be back and will be a year better.

I think in the end, State will take a step back and Ole Miss could conceivably be as good or even better, depending on their QB play.

Oh good Lord, that's a ridiculous statement. LSU has talent, facilities, and damn good coaches. If LSU & Bama can find a way to retain that talent, and deter them from jumping to the fricking pro's early then both teams will be dominant. JMHO

THIS!! Had LSU and Bama not lost so many great players early to the draft the last few years we'd still be the teams to beat in the west but shite happens and they left. We will get the young guys up to speed and be right back in it next year.

Some posters are just pussies, obviously LSU will struggle some this yr, but the future is clearly bright for both of us.

Get your licks in on LSU and even Bama this yr, because both will continue to battle for most national titles over the next five years.
