That is a huge misconception. The last four years, LSU has been marginal from a recruiting standpoint as compared to previous years. Last year was an anomaly, and even then, they lost three 5 star recruits out of the state to their immediate competitors and may have lost the best LB prospect in Louisiana in 20 years to UCLA.

LSU is showing a lot of signs of returning to its 1990s form.

Consider me misconceived

Oh good Lord, that's a ridiculous statement. LSU has talent, facilities, and damn good coaches.

If LSU & Bama can find a way to retain that talent, and deter them from jumping to the fricking pro's early then both teams will be dominant. JMHO

Dude you really need to head back to Tiger Rant with this doomsday shite. We have a down year, it was going to happen with all the early entries. To declare the run being over after two bad games is pretty absurd.

Auburn has two losing seasons this past decade and LSU has none. If Auburn can bounce back LSU will certainly.

Only when you stop putting yourself in the same league with LSU.

LSU leads the all-time series 27-21-1 against Auburn.

LSU has won 6 of the past 8 against Auburn.

Fifty years from now Auburn will be most remembered in trivia questions as the team that ended the streak of BCSNC Titles. Thanks.

Did Auburn's dominance of 2010 and 2013 just not register with Bama and LSU fans?

How can the guard change if Auburn wins the conference this year?

You need to get over a .250 winning % over LSU to be atop and a .500 over Bama.

Fair enough.....Can you tell me how many SEC teams have not won the SEC in football the past 50 years?

Still not over the stiff-dew game huh?

How about 45-10 and 31-10....do those scores ring a bell?

Les is still 7-3 against Auburn.

Painful...I get it.

I can see why you don't want to talk about 2014 and the arse raping you just received.

0'fer on 3rd downs.
280 yards of total offense
FR savior QB looked like a walk-on scrub

gave up 560 yards
AU scored on first 4 possessions
34 point beat down - worst loss for LSU over the past decade

Keep living in the past

Congrats. It was kind of sad watching Auburn get revenge on LSU with so much passion as if they were MSU and OM. It really made me realize how painful the beatings have been for Auburn under uncle Les. Enjoy.

I'm specifically referring to inside the stadium. While it may have been great this weekend, it was relative. OM & MSU just aren't the big time, sorry.

This is so stupid I had to respond. LSU is in no way shape or form heading back to 90s form.

LSU is spending shitloads of money now to keep up with the best now, our AD was on the cheap in the 90s.

They missed on some prospects that really hurt this year and are relying on young players who aren't ready. It's that simple.

I'm very surprised how bad the d is performing but I'm not surprised at the QB struggle at all.

Is there an All-Sectard award for being good at posting here?

Are you people that spend half your lives on a message board for real? Seriously.

If I do suck at this, as you say, I'll take that as a compliment.

I think the rest of the SEC, for better or for worse, views the 2010 Auburn team with an asterisk because of the Camgate ordeal.

I guess. Kinda like how the rest of the SEC views the 2007 LSU team with multiple loses with an asterisk. Maybe count those as half a championship?

This will be a long season in South LA, with all the sky is falling, between LSU, and the Saints.
This is a rebuilding year, not the early 90's.
